John Shelton is the founding principal of Shelton & Associates.

John began his career as a landlord leasing agent representing office building owners. He worked for both Grubb & Ellis Commercial Real Estate and Colliers International in San Diego.

Mr. Shelton was hired as Senior Vice President of Management and Leasing for a former San Diego based high-rise office building owner and manager which controlled approximately 1,200,000 square feet of downtown high-rise office space in San Diego. He was also elected to the Board of Directors where he served as Vice President. John oversaw all management and leasing activities, lease negotiations, and the day-to-day operations of the properties.

Upon leaving his management and leasing position, John was hired by a local investment and development company where he served as Vice President of Acquisitions and was assigned the task of identifying property acquisitions ranging from $30 - $50 million.

John has been involved in excess of $500 million in purchase, sale and lease transactions throughout his career.

Mr. Shelton's experience and knowledge from representing landlords has paved the path to his sophisticated approach in representing tenants in their lease negotiations. John has extensive first-hand knowledge and insight of landlord expectations and negotiation tactics. He uses his extensive experience at the negotiating table to benefit his clients.

Mr. Shelton, a San Diego native, has a BS in Business Management from San Diego State University and is a Licensed Broker in the state of California.

From the proceeds of completed transactions John regularly contributes financially to Rady Children's Hospital San Diego, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego, San Diego Humane Society and SPCA, Children's Museum, the San Diego Rescue Mission, YMCA, the Monarch School for Homeless Children, Casa de Amparo and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Mr. Morey is a Senior Associate at Shelton & Associates where he serves all aspects of assisting and satisfying his client's specific requirements.

His primary objective is to assist his clients in negotiating the most beneficial deal terms possible. Jeff is a very aggressive and streamline negotiator and always keeps his client's best interests at heart.

Jeff takes great pride in working every transaction as though it were a deal he would transact for himself. He is extremely dedicated and persistent. He will do everything possible to satisfy your requirement.

Mr. Morey is a San Diego Native. He is active with various charities and non-profit organizations. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf.

As a Senior Associate at Shelton & Associates, Mr. Lipsey skillfully assists his clients with their commercial leasing needs.

Ryan has an extensive real estate background and is extremely passionate about "exclusively representing tenants" in their lease negotiations. He has earned a reputation of fair dealings and excellence in serving his clients best interests.

Mr. Lipsey graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Ryan is happily married with two children and resides in San Diego.

Mr. Calmenson is a Senior Associate with Shelton & Associates where he makes every effort to represent his client's best interest to achieve their ideal location and terms.

Kevin takes seriously his fiduciary duty to his clients and takes pride in helping them make informed decisions.

Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science with distinction in his field of study from San Diego State University where he majored in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate.

Mr. Calmenson has worked in several capacities of commercial real estate prior to joining Shelton & Associates. He worked as a broker at NAI San Diego and as a researcher at Burnham/Cushman & Wakefield and is also a licensed State of California Real Estate Broker (Lic. # 01849653).

He resides in San Diego where he enjoys riding his bikes and engaging in water sports.

Jeff Dolled brings over 15 years of experience in real estate financial analysis to Shelton & Associates.

Mr. Dolled has experience in providing transactional support for acquisition analysis, underwriting, investor reporting, asset management and due diligence of commercial and residential real estate investment properties. Jeff brings a solid network of relationships with developers, builders, and lenders in the industry to enhance his abilities to design complex financial models in the determination of valuation and profitability for real estate investments. Mr. Dolled has participated in the acquisition and disposition of over $400 million of office, industrial, retail, multi-family and mixed-use properties.

Jeff is detailed and results oriented, enjoys playing golf, sports and living in San Diego.

Jeff earned his MBA in Finance from the Claremont Graduate School - Peter F. Drucker School of Management, and a BA in Management Science from the University of California, San Diego.
